Project HSE Manager

Overview

Job Description :
To provide HSE support to all activities at Site. To plan, coordinate and control the activities providing quality and timely advice to the Project Manager and other Line Managers during the Project lifespan. Ensure the monitoring of the effective implementation of the Project HSE Management System.

Specific Skills
Work Experience and education requirements:
  • The Resource should have internationally recognised qualification in HSE Management (BSC, NEBOSH or equivalent) preferably with an engineering background.
  • TheResource should be aware of the relevant HSE norms such as ISO 45001/14001
  •  TheResourceshould be aware of the best International practices/STD (e.g. iOGP, OSHA, BS/AS/NZ)Thejobholder should have at least 5 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry,
  • Soft Skills and Competencies:
  •  Fluent Level of Business English Language (C2 Level or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with business computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Goodverbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to create a friendly working environment
Responsible For
  • The Resource will be responsible for:
  •  Developing a Site specific program (e. g. HSE Plan in accordance with relevant iOGP Guidelines) to ensure that operations and activities are in accordance with HSE policies and procedures, Clients requirements and Best International Practices.
  • Timely submitting the HSE statistics to Corporate HSE team. Submitting also all relevant HSE related reports in accordance to Reporting Procedure.
  • Monitoring the effective implementation of the Project HSE Policies, Project HSE Plan and approved Project HSE Procedures, reporting any deviation to the Project Manager and Corporate HSE Manager.
  • Ensuring that a training program is in place and duly followed.
  • Cooperating on the development of HSE personnel, including local HSE staff, providing direct support to the Project Construction team.
  • Assisting the Project Manager in the identification of HSE resources necessary for the Project activities (HSE Org Chart).
  • Cooperating with Project Manager, HR, and Medical staff for the MEDEVAC operations;
